Wednesday, Sept. 9, is our first Early Release Day. Students will be dismissed two hours early so teachers can meet for Professional Learning Community collaboration.

Dismissal at Handley will begin at 1 p.m. and will follow normal daily dismissal procedures for car riders, bus riders, walkers, and parent pickup.

After-school care transportation will run as usual:

• Students in YMCA child care at Boston will ride their regular bus to Boston.
• Students who attend Boys & Girls Club at Hailmann will continue to ride to Hailmann.

Because dismissal happens on a shortened schedule, please notify the office of any transportation changes as early as possible. The office must verify all changes before releasing a student.

If a delay is called on a scheduled Early Release Day, the early release is canceled, and school will follow a regular dismissal schedule.
